This exceptional inaugural release begins its journey with a selection of red wine from the prestigious Château Longpré, nestled in the very heart of the Ariège region.

The wine undergoes a meticulous double distillation, transforming into a remarkably aromatic white spirit. This pure essence is then carefully aged for 18 months in the finest French oak barrels, allowing it to slowly absorb the wood’s deep character.

Bottled at 45% ABV to capture and preserve all its natural richness, this Ariège brandy offers exceptional smoothness that belies its strength. Each sip reveals a complex array of flavors, deeply influenced by its aging in oak barrels.

Appearance:
A beautiful, warm amber color with mature golden highlights, suggesting controlled aging.

Nose:
Rich and captivating, with dominant aromas of dried fruit (prunes, figs) blended with the sweet spices of vanilla, a subtle hint of cinnamon, and a touch of oak. The character of the original red wine is also evident, perhaps with a faint hint of ripe red berries in the background.

Palette:

• First impression: An incredibly smooth and velvety mouthfeel that gently warms the palate.

• Mid-palate: A captivating evolution of flavors. The sweetness of caramel and toffee emerges, balanced by the spicy warmth of nutmeg and a delicate note of tobacco leaf. The oak influence is perfectly integrated, providing structure without overpowering the fruit and spices. A hint of toasted dried fruit is also detectable.
